Our new lamination machine has just started production! With this investment, Altea Packaging increases its production capacity and expands its product range with Cold-Seal.

Cold Seal is an interesting alternative for applications like chocolate bars, cereals, filled cookies and ice creams… It allows higher packaging speed and lower temperature sealing for lower energy consumption (and therefore a lower carbon footprint).

Dans le cadre de sa stratégie de développement durable, Kimho Packaging vient d’investir dans l’acquisition d’une station de recyclage de solvants (SRP : Solvent Recovery Plant)

Cet investissement, le 1er au Maghreb, s’inscrit dans le cadre d’une stratégie plus globale visant à renforcer notre position de leader en tant qu’acteur éco-responsable du secteur de l’emballage.

Il est dimensionné pour pouvoir y raccorder jusqu’à 5 machines d’impression et autant de contre-collage.

Ce système de recyclage consiste à capturer les solvants évaporés et à les réintégrer dans le processus de production, à hauteur de 80-90%. Il nous permettra ainsi d’opérer une dépollution atmosphérique et une amélioration de l’environnement de travail par la réduction des émissions de COV (Composés Organiques Volatils) conformément à la directive Européenne 1999/13/EC. Ce projet, qui consiste à valoriser les déchets et les réintégrer en tant que ressources renouvelables dans notre chaine d’approvisionnement, nous permet d’économiser plus d’un millier de tonnes de solvants par an et contribue ainsi à l’amélioration de la performance économique de l’entreprise.

Nous avons engagé un plan d’action ambitieux, centré sur le renforcement de notre efficacité énergétique et le recours accru aux énergies renouvelables, avec notamment la mise en œuvre d’un système de management de l’énergie certifié ISO 50001, le déploiement d’une centrale photovoltaïque et le développement de projets de valorisation énergétique des déchets.

En parallèle, nous travaillons sur la réduction à la source en substituant progressivement les matières premières à forte intensité carbone et en codéveloppant, avec nos partenaires, des emballages plus durables. L’optimisation des procédés et des flux tout au long de notre chaîne de valeur reste au cœur de cette démarche. Cette action s’inscrit dans le programme “Croissance Qualitative pour l’Emploi (CQE)”, mis en œuvre par la GIZ avec le Ministère de l’Industrie, des Mines et de l’Énergie, et cofinancé par le BMZ et l’Union européenne.
